Your basic Long Island Italian restaurant. Our food is decent but did not wow anyone in our party. Huge servings, attentive and friendly service.
I was working in the area and I was told to eat there for lunch. It was the best pizza I've had in Suffolk county hands down!
As a customer of this restaurant for several years now I have to say the overall quality of their service has decreased significantly. Let me start my saying the food is good which Is why I deem this 2/5 even for their prices. However, over the past year or two the customer service has been awful. For example it takes an unacceptable amount of time to get your take-out orders in particular if they say a 40 minute wait, it will most definitely take an hour and a half. Furthermore they never do what it takes to make up for their constant errors in your specific instructions for food nor the time lost by their lack of attention and awareness. In conclusion the lack of customer service and exponential increase in errors in regards incompetence leaves me with no choice but to take my thousands of dollars else where. It has been a nice run but there is plenty of other Italian cuisine destinations in a similar vicinity for a more affordable cost and superior servitude.
“We don’t take reservations, but call an hour early and we will set you up when you arrive.” If you’re told this DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR BAIT. They’re liars. They trick you to wait so you don’t leave and end until waiting. Took out my grandmother for her 90th birthday. Resturant jerked us around lying saying to just call an hour ahead and they will have the table. They won’t. They also won’t apologize for their rudeness and neglect. Apparently this place is too good for a thoughtful family trying to plan ahead for their grandmother who struggles to walk. Thanks mamma Lombardi’s. You clearly take care of your mothers.
